Another view of the great Comet Lovejoy. As I mentioned in my self portrait pic this comet has faded a lot since I took this picture. I was out at about 2am this morning and I could barely make it out against the background Milky Way. This means that I have had to cancel my roadtrip plans to capture it with some interesting foreground structures.

I love the green airglow in this shot. I'm not entirely sure how it is caused but I think it has something to do with natural oxygen in the upper atmosphere.
